We've got sun and clouds today. Mild temperatures but the wind has picked up.
Mom osprey is sitting on the nest watching other birds zipping around her and the upper dam. One bird came pretty close to her and she seemed quite nervous at first. All is calm now

Mug of coffeeGood Morning Everyone! wave
We've got a crystal clear picture of the nest this morning. Gorgeous!Cool

In this picture mom is not moving at all. I think she is snoozing. She is certainly taking a moment for herself at the very least. sleepy

wave Ayer's Island,

Pretty picture Jude! You once asked me how I do close-ups: Have a recorder that does it for me; sometime I get a good image and sometimes not.

It's time for me to take my coffee outside to my little garden bench but wanted to check the nest first.

9:59 am, Flyby.

Arrival. Not sure which adult brought what to the nest. Either it was Mom who came in with her own fish or it was Dad with nest fluff.

Departure. Adult leaving did not take anything from the nest.
