It was the first time I looked at them. It seems that you live in a paradise... what a beautiful wildlife around you... and you know birds by their names.

Thanks for your kind words Les. It was watching the eagles that sparked my interest in bird watching. Henry heron has lived at the park since falling out of his nest when he was a baby. He is quite tame and people feed him He is my favorite photography subject.

Here is a pic I took of Henry Heron at Beacon Hill today. He was perched up in a tree away from his usual spots around the lake.

Nice to see that Henry is still at the park. My sister and brother-in-law were there two weeks ago and didn't see him anywhere. I was wondering if something had happened to him.

I wonder how old he would be ??

Oh yes, he is still there Judy. I don't know how old he is but he has been a fixture at the park for many many years.
