Kay: Wonderful photos from Kings Pond. I especially liked the Wood Duck, but all the others are great, too. Brilliant colors. Your photos from Kings Pond are just as good or even better then the ones you would get at Reifel WBS. Reifel, however, is the only place where I've seen a Sandhill Crane. -- Ed

The Heron photo was taken on a trail near Bayview, Washington in the Skagit Valley. I now realize that it probably should have been posted in the Northwest Trails thread. oops. Maybe I will move it over there.
