Thank you for the photos, jewill and Sandra. Yes, Delta is flat - as it is delta built up from sediment deposited at the mouth of the Fraser River. Nodding yes It is very fertile farmland but always at threat of development for the ever-growing population of Vancouver.

A beautiful juvie right down the street from the old Delta nest. I was down there yesterday, May 14 2010 and did not see too many eagles in general....and most likely any adult I saw probably was not the Delta pair....

beautiful photos all of you, thank you so much. i also miss the Delta pair, but always feared and hated their nest. Dan and Dawn were my first eagles to view live ever, and i was so hooked for life Wub i will never forget them. thank you again Smile

Here is a picture of Ma and Pa that was taken by Ellen on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at around 9 pm. She apologizes for the poor quality but it was getting late and she only had her short lens with her. I don't know, I think she's being rather hard on herself because I thinks it's pretty good. She also wants me to say "hi" wave to everyone and to apologize (again) for being absent from the forum. I know she's been having some stress at work (her company is being taken over but she is optimistic that she will be kept on) and her Mom is coming for a visit from Germany very soon. She promises to be back in the loop when things settle down for her.
