Hello Your recent sightings do sound very promising. Nice reporting with pics. It is really difficult to determine what that very significant find of Ma's was! Chin

Hello Everybody!
Thankyou stim. I think it might be a Cormorant she has? I've also been told that it could be a goose? Is that even possible. I do know that she was having quite the struggle picking it up, and then even flying when she first took off. I guess only her and Pa will know.
We ventured down to the point early this evening, and I believe it to be Ma in the nest. Whats more, I believe there is finally egg(s) present!!! We hung around for about an hour, and no sign of Pa. But we watched Ma shift in the nest, peek out over our way, wiggle a little, then hunker down!!!

I'm so excited! Could this be it?!! Yahoo!!

Grin Great news about possible brooding having started! Very Happy
I've seen an eagle take down a Canada Goose but having to eat it on the ground. That being said, what looked like a Canada Goose was delivered to the Delta 2 nest last year so I figured it was a Cackling Goose, much smaller but very similar markings. Smaller than a cormorant too. But you're right Shrub, we'll never know! Titter

Hello Everyone,
Hey Urban Eagle! We wish you were here too! I can't wait to check out the pics of the Golden Eagles! See you soon.
We went down to the point this afternoon, and one of the Adults was in the nest. We couldn't tell if it was Ma or Pa because she/he was snuggled right down low.
No sign of the other adult though.

Now the waiting game begins!! So exciting!

Hello Everybody
This was the last stop for the day.
Ma was in the nest when we arrived today with Pa watching from two trees to the right!

We hung around for a short while, hoping that we might see a swap, but Pa flew off NE of the pier. Then he returned shortly after and perched on a pilon just NW of the mill.

He didn't seem in any big hurry to return to the nest, and Ma seemed pretty cozy for the time being.
Oh the anticipation!!
