Happy Easter Everyone!

Great to see you again Urban Eagle.
It's also Great to see that Ma and Pa aren't venturing too far from the nest lately.
When we arrived on the scene this morning, Ma was in the nest tree, where she remained for quite a while.

Then Pa flew in and landed in the nest briefly, before heading off toward the mill

Just before he returned, Ma made a very short flight, more like a jump, two trees over from the nest tree

Pa returned to the nest, from his little venture over the mill, carrying what appears to be some kind of brush, which he added to the nest.

As he was doing that, Ma took a very quick flight out towards some logs out on the water, swooping down, and returning to a pilon with what appears to be a small fish.

While she snacked on her treat, Pa flew out NE over the inlet and was briefly out of sight. Then he reappeared with something in his talons, landing on what used to be an Osprey nest and began to chow down for a while.
After listening to Ma calling out, I guess he decided he would take his catch back to the nest and share.

When we left, Pa was in the nest with his (their) meal, and Ma was still out on the pilon, enjoying the sun.
Being that these two, especially Ma, seem to be staying in very close proximity to the nest, my talons are double crossed that egg(s) are in the very near future.
Here's Hoping!!

Hi Everybody,

We ventured down to Rocky Point last night. We found Ma sitting on the peeko lift at the mill, and Pa in the nest.

Shortly after we arrived, Ma flew down onto the log deck, where she appeared to be struggling with something, which took her two or three plus tries to pick it up.

This went on for about two or three minutes.

Shrub

After a few minutes of watching Ma struggle with what appeared to be a fairly large object on the log deck, she became airborne, and returned to the nest with her catch.

Her and Pa appeared to be having quite the dinner at that point.

I'm so excited that these two are staying so close to the nest these days!! FINALLY!!!
