Hello Everyone,

We did our usual routine this evening, and headed to Rocky Point. Just as we were arrived, we saw Ma Osprey fly off. I no sooner got the camera set up, and she returned.

I can't believe how alert this little one is.

As Ma and baby watched the goings on around them,

When some kayakers got to close for comfort, Ma was quick to let them know.

After about an hour, as the sun was going down, and Ma and baby were hunkered down in the nest, we decided to call it a night. As we were walking along the pier, Pa flew over as if to say, "see you tomorrow".

Just as we got to the end of the pier, I noticed two dark figures in the tree on the point, just over from the eagles nest. When I looked through my lens, Ma and Pa eagle were looking back!

I was happy to see them, as they haven't been in the area the last few visits we've made to Rocky Point.

Hello Everybody,
Confusion Circle, awesome picture! It is hard to tell who it is from that view, but being that it appears that he/she is carrying grass, it's a good chance it's Ma. She seems to be the one to add sticks and grass to the nest. Beautiful shot though.

We stopped by to see how the Osprey were doing last night, just after dinner, and just as we set up, Pa was arriving on the scene with a fish, for his family.

He stopped for a brief second, to say high to his youngster before flying off.

As Ma and baby were eating, someone cruised by in a kayak, and Ma was quick to let them know that they were too close for her comfort!

In the mean time, Pa was arriving on the scene with another fish.

Leaving that for Ma and baby, he took what was left of the first fish, and disappeared for a short while.

For the third time in about a half hour, Pa arrived on the scene with a third fish.

Once again taking what was left of the previous fish, he dissappeared for a while. Giving us a chance to visit with Urban Eagle, who we haven't scene for a while, and catch up on any current Eagle news. Then, with in about 20 minutes, Pa shows up, with the fourth fish.

This time he actually stayed around for a while.

No wonder why this little one is not so little any more all the eating he's been doing. It appears that he/she may be self feeding, or at least making an attempt at it. With the wing stretches that he/she does, it won't be long before he/she starts to fly.
