Hello Everyone,

We arrived here yesterday afternoon, and no sign of our beloved eagles.
After having a quick dinner, we headed for the end of the pier to check the Osprey. As we arrived, I noticed a little head, just to Ma's right, peeking out over the inlet.

Pa arrived on the scene, and the three posed for a nice pic

Then Ma was off the stretch her wings returning quickly with a stick

I guess building up the nest so junior doesn't fall out.

After arriving back at the nest with her stick, Pa flew off, I guess to go hunt for food, leaving Ma and baby.

Pa was gone for quite a while, so Ma made a quick trip out, I think she was trying to deter the two kayakers that thought it would be funny to rub their boats against the post the nest is on.
Soon, there was a faint peeping from within the nest, and the baby poked his/her head up, looking to see where Ma was.

She returned promptly, with another stick to add to the nest.

Pa was gone for a couple of hours, so Ma took another quick flight, again to deter some canoers that were too close, in her eyes.

She no sooner flew off, and Pa arrived on the scene.

Ma returned promptly as well and the family was whole again.

In the couple of hours we visited this nest yesterday, (four + to be exact), this family devoured two good sized fish. This youngster won't be little for long!
As we were leaving, both eagles appeared. One out on the point tree, and one on the side-lift at the mill. Unfortunately it was too dark for pictures. Hopefully I'll have better luck today.

Hello Everyone,

We made our way down to Rocky Point after dinner last night, to see how our Osprey family was doing. Upon our arrival, one of the frequent watchers told us that he had been there since 4:00pm and that Pa was gone at that time, and hadn't yet been back. He was a little concerned as it was about 7pm when we arrived.
Ma and junior, whom has been dubbed as E T, were in the nest, as usual, watching the many fans, watching them.

E T gave a stretch bringing the comment that 'somebody has some really big wings to grow into'!

About half an hour after our arrival, Pa arrived with a good sized goldfish

Ma and 'E T' had a feast, while Pa stood watch. He must have ate while he was out on his long journey.

returning quickly. Then she and Pa surrounded their youngster, as if tucking him/her in for the night.

As we left, we quickly took a peek at the eagle nest area, but neither Ma nor Pa were anywhere to be seen.
Maybe later today, being that it's a little cooler.

Hello Everybody,

We stopped by Rocky Point on our way home from the Hastings Nest, yesterday, to see if there was any sign of the PM eagles. We didn't see them at first, so we made our way to the Osprey nest.
Ma, along with junior, was watching all the on lookers.

Not too long after we arrived, Pa arrived on the scene, with yet another gold fish.

While Ma and the little one had dinner, Pa cleaned up some sticks near the edge of the nest.

Then he was off to his perch just NE of the nest.

After they finished their meal, Ma and junior turned their attention eastward of the nest.

I guess they were watching Pa watching them from his post just NE of the nest.

Either that, or they were watching all the people lined up at one end of the bridge on Shore Line trail, afraid to cross as a Mother bear and her two cubs were on the grassy area right near the bridge. Too far away for pics though.
