Hello Everyone,

This was the last stop on our quest to beat the rain rounds today.
We saw no sign of either one of the eagles in the area, so we ventured to the end of the pier to check the osprey. We weren't there for very long when one of the adults, I think it's Pa, arrived at the nest with a fish.

As we watched them eating, I thought Ma was feeding a little one, or little ones.

It's hard to tell, but they are due to hatch any day now. We'll have to keep tabs on this family for sure.

waveFriends, I stopped by the cam nest on my way to meet up with Shrub and Hubby at the end of the pier.
Saw no sign of our Eagles, walked the shore line path behind the restaurant and saw no action around the new nest
they are trying to build. My guess is that there is to much foliage on the branches for them to use for the nest.
Off to catch up with the ground crew and the Osprey, as I arrived Pa brought in a fish for lunch,

and was kind enough to offer Ma some.

After lunch Ma was off for a bath,

Hello Everyone,

Being that it was such a nice day yesterday, we ventured down to Rocky Point hoping to see the resident Eagles. Unfortunately they didn't seem to be in the area today, so we headed to the end of the pier to check the Osprey. When we arrived, Ma was sitting on the nest edge.

A very short time later, Pa arrived on the scene with a fish. From talking to some of the people who were there for a few hours watching, it was the second one in two hours.

When he arrived, Ma proceded to talk his ears off for a minute.

Then the pair shared a nice meal.

The pair quickly added the branch to their nest,

then Pa retreated to on of his favorite perches just NE of the nest to preen

I can't wait to see if there are little ones in this nest. It's getting very exciting!

Shrub, I am so happy you all have this nest to watch and share now that your eagles are rebuilding. The osprey are amazing. I love how they fish, the hovering then fast drop they do. That was one honking stick Ma delivered for you! Wooh How do you tell Ma from Pa?
