waveFriends,
AS Ma gained hight in the thermals she was challenged by a crow so the airial show was on,although it was splened to whatch I could't help but feel how lost this pair must feel.
As Ma flew higher into the sky she headed to the north shore to the point where I couldn't even track her with the camera.
Hopefully will see them both over the weekend.

wave Hi Larry. That sure does look like it could be the start of a new nest. Sad if so as you mentioned the row of trees there are rotting at the base like the one that got blown over. sigh sign Nice captures flying with the crow. At least now Ma can fly far enough away to get rid of it. Smile Amazing how fast the crows can fly when chasing an eagle trying to get away. Oh My

The nest has taken a bit of a beating but was nice to see one of the adults perched there,
before I could set up He/she flew out and made a pass over with a raven and some crows hot on there tail .Sorry I missed that pic.
Good to see that they are still defending there territory and keeping an eye on there old nestLeft thumb up

Hello Everybody,
Larry, I am so glad you have pictures of the old cam nest, with the PM Pair near it. Maybe they'll rethink the idea of building a nest in the tree where the recent nest blew down, and use the cam nest next season!
Talons crossed!

waveFriends of these Eagles,
Those of you who check in on this thread know that the PM Eagles have lost there nest this season(there tree fell down)
But with some bad came some good. The PM Osprey have returned to the south side of the Inlet.
Last season they went into the park on the north side( geese took over there nest )
They have built there new nest not forty feet or so of the end of Rocky Point pier and are making quit an attraction
Easy to see why.

From the end of the pier we can still keep a sharp eye out for the PM Eagles who remain in the area and be entertained by this young pair.
Pa caught a fish and didn’t even go back to the nest with it (baby’s haven’t hatched yet ) getting his fill while he can.

This last pic clearly show that one is banded, I’m hoping ConfusionCircle( who has recently joined are site) will get a better pic.
and will post them hear.

Shrub believe's the hatch date for these chicks could be around the 10th to 16th of this month,Talons crossed.
Cheers

Hello Everyone

Nice pics of the Osprey Urban Eagle! And I love the video Confusion Circle submitted! I can't wait for my camera to come back from the shop to photgraph these two. These two and the geese seem to have an issue as to where they're going to nest each season. Two seasons ago the goose took over the Osprey nest, so the Ospre built their nest sort of NE to the current nest. Then the goose took over that nest. Now the Osprey are in the nest they are now, which, three seasons ago was the goose nest. I wonder whos going to be where next season?
