Welcome friends of these Eagles -This thread is dedicated to observations, photos and videos of the Port Moody Inlet Eagles.
In 09/10 season these Eagles were in their old nest at PCT,where HWF installed cameras.
With their return for the 10/11 season they decided to move to their new nest about 400yds. N.E. at the end of the cedar mill .(see map)
They had two chicks and both fledged successfully.

There is a good view of the nest from Rocky point, looking west just past the boat house restaurant.

Hi Larry, glad to see this thread set up! Excited that this beautiful pair is back. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they use the cam nest and that HWF can get the cam set up if needed, otherwise I look forward to meeting new friends established at the park last year to watch this pair on their new nest!

Beautiful pictures, Urban Eagle!

Do you suppose if all of us from other parts of the world look towards BC and chant "go with the old nest" - the eagles will listen?

waveFriends of these Eagles, Thank you JudyB,Kay,
I made a quick visit to the nest this morning while the sun was still out but saw no sign of the Eagles.
They might be heading up to the FVBEF allreadyGrin

That just gave me a wild thought... maybe they want to be ambassadors for HWF Green LOL

I hope my health will let me get out to the park this year to see these eagles.

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

wave Friends of these Eagles,

Down at the point today to meet up with Heather and Stu. Not much activity around the nest but Pa was sitting in the evergreens at the East end off the Inlet.
