Hi Beans!

You can link it to here if you wish. Nightowl, Jill and I certainly go to Hornby discussion thread and would truly appreciate as many pictures there as possible. I think Nightowl might agree with that and if not she will say as she is pretty cool!

Howdy do beans, Carolyn, and Judy! Hello

Beans, post your videos in either thread...both are fine, and I don't think we can get enough of seeing Elizabeth. Wub The little stinker reminds me more of David every day. She's just taking her time, just like he did.

Judy, great s'caps of Elizabeth, too! Nodding BTW, as beans is one of the 'ladies of HEGPS' I think she knows the rules for there and for here. No need for a reminder.

Carolyn, you know me too well! Laugh

How is everyone's weather? It's hotter than hades here and the humidity! Oh my! A couple of weeks ago when it was over 100º we didn't have the humidity, which was odd for St. Louis (OK rare! ) but it's back with a vengeance now! Right now before 8AM it's 82º with 65% humidity. I'm guessing it's so bad here cause we're at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers.

OK, gotta get my day started and take something for this lousy Carpal Tunnel that seems to be rearing it's ugly head again.

Hope everyone has a GREAT day! Hello

Good morning Judy! Hello

Actually, that isn't fog. That time of the morning, the sun is shining so brightly in just the right direction, the camera can't compensate for it. Elizabeth would pick that time of morning for an adventure, huh? Titter

dear friends, this morning I found this tiny hatchling on the ground, a few blocks from my house. I immediately picked him up, just in case he was still alive. But he wasn't. I don't know whether he died from the fall or the cold. It has been in the low 50s at night here and around 60 during the day.

His tiny crop is empty. I'm guessing he was hatched yesterday or this morning. There were no feathers around, no nest on the ground. He was at least ten feet from the closest tree. Bless his heart, I will give him a proper burial in my yard.

This seems like a good place to post this picture, as all of you would be sympathetic and understand my sadness over a tiny baby. Cry

Awww Beans, that is sad. I will celebrate the little time the baby lived with you and be sad over his death.
