Hi Nightowl and welcome back!! You had me laughing so hard about your move. It is so typical of moving and no matter how well you plan things, you feel totally flaked out!! Finding things gets to be almost hysterical, so keep that good sense of humor. If my computer were taken apart, I would not have the first clue of how to put the thing back into working order!! It is good to see you back!

Hi Nightowl and Jill!

Nightowl, I am so glad you are back. I can imagine your expression with all the boxes piled neatly in those two places -----what? Moving is a wonderful cleaning out experience as we learned in our move from NJ (with everything accumulated over the years, plus from family). I think Salvation Army in NJ loved us.

You will get out from under boxes, we promise. Want those gremlins again? They are good at unpacking if you supply them with what they need to eat and drink.

Jill, great posts. I hope you are not too overextended with increased job hours. That dog reminded me of a lot of car mechanics........

For Nightowl......i have not written a poem in a long time, yet you deserve one!

Boxes, boxes, some contain foxes, some contain towels,
sprockets and Clorox too,
Oh what am I to do, the living room is full,
the kitchen is too, I can't find the pots, the plates,
the can opener or the screw.

Sit on the boxes, make a nice spot,
the cats will join you if you borrow an opener,
to give them their food or their kibble too,
but what are we going to do about you?

Well, you could eat out, pretend its a lark,
then come home watch eagles and say what a beautiful spot,
sitting on this box in front of the screen it almost,
most likely could be considered serene.

House is certainly pristine!

Bev, good to see you here, and you're right...I'm going to be a while finding things...if I ever do. :mrgreen: There's still stuff that got packed that I need to go through and pitch. What fun.

Ahhh...the furnace just kicked on. Just what I need to warm these ol' bones in this cold weather.

Did you guys see our 2 new smilies? I'm sure they replaced something, but for the life of me, I can't tell what.
