I went to see Ma & Pa today, but didn't see either of them anywhere. I had a look at the nest through my binoculars from the side road and as I was watching 2 big eaglets on the branch beside the nest, something moved behind the eaglet on the left. At first I thought it was a branch or leaves, but to my surprise I realized what I was looking at was a third eaglet Wooh Congratulations to Ma & Pa who have done it again Clapping They look very big & healthy and have all branched. I suspect they were waiting for Ma or Pa to arrive home with a meal. Had it been a nice day I would have gone out on the beach Sad On the way back around Pat Bay I spotted a big dark bird perched on a rock and knew it was too big to be a heron. It was a juvie and it looked like it was probably one of last year's. I'll post a pic of it here later.

Aha! Definite confirmation there are 3 eaglets as eaglesonly-emme, Mindy, suspected all along. I have just texted her the great news. Thanks Kay for solving the mystery.

I'm posting this pic of the juvie here because it could very well be one of Ma & Pa's offspring.

elle, as they say, I guess I was in the right place at the right time Wink I was lucky they were all not flatlets in the nest. It was raining and they did look a little wet Oh My

Beautiful juvie.

Mindy was sure she had seen 3 eaglets one day and so did her mother but after that...........Puzzled I have only ever seen 2. I knew time would reveal all. Thank You
