I was kinda hoping they would just have two this year, but they've successfully raised three before, so I'm sure they will do so again! Looking forward to your Pics Elle!

Here are some snaps of Ma and Pa from May 7th and May 11th. All can be clicked.

I am not absolutely sure but I think this is Ma because of the size of the body and the beak! She only makes a brief appearance now that she has chicks in the nest.

This one reminds me of a gymnast's dismount from the parallel bars. I give Pa a " 10" Clapping

We had another great visit today, this time with eaglesonly-emme/Mindy who was here for the weekend for Mother's Day. It was great to see here again and to spend an afternoon with her and our Ma and Pa. It was a hot sunny day today and there were NO eaglets visible in the nest at all.Sad They must have been flat out from the heat. Ma was in the nest with her wings out and her beak open. Also the farmers were not home so we could not speak with them. But Mindy pinky swears she saw 3 eaglets yesterday and so did her mother. I trust her eyesight. Smile We'll just have to wait until they are all sitting upright in the nest or branching to know for absolute sure.

Now I will look at some videos.......................................

Aww, Thanks Elle! Beautiful pics of Ma and Pa...It was a hot day today, one of the first of many I do hopeSmile As such, it would stand to reason that the little ones would be inactive, and flatlets as we've seen Ma and Pa's little ones do before in the heat!

I went to see Ma & Pa today with 2 very special ladies; Sharon (gemini) and Vicki (vickrb). I was very happy for them that they saw Pa perched at the top of a skinny tree behind the nest tree, and Ma in the nest. We were so far away that we couldn't see the eaglets in the nest, even with my binoculars, but we were quite sure by Ma's movements that she was feeding them.
