Welcome back Klaw. Your pictures are wonderful!

Hello Tina & Christian, Besides the flight time from nest to water, could you also estimate how many feet/yards from nest to water? The student's question was "How far is the nest from the water at White Rock?" AH & the class will love the flight times (I did) but I felt h/s would also like to know the distance as well. I realize "as the eagle flys" would be different than a hike up the hill, lol.

Looking forward to your return Christian.

Thank you STIM Smile Gorgeous evening last night!

Here are a few more - There were 3 eagles in total that I shot pictures of - 2 in the one tree and one hiding in a tree to the left and further back in the wooded area.

Today was a lovely sunny day! Tina, who is a long time eagle lover knows WR beach very well and we decided to explore the area together, Tina with a lighter pocket camera (see her images and you will be surprised what is possible, quite amazing!) and me with a somewhat heavier camera - maybe Tina has an image later to show thatGrin

In any case, so that you may all see in what paradise we live, we explored at low tide, around 4pm. Here some impressions. Sometimes the action is so fast that only later I realized that nearly every eagle carries a fish Sitting eagle
