Nice photos of your day,the eagles look magnificent Clapping the wind was perfect for soaring !
I think it is a female with the feather missing , she seems larger and her beak shape is wider, Great shots , keep them coming, Cheers eaglet !

It is VERY windy today, and in the afternoon the rain stopped but the wind was still very strong. No Mom and Dad in the nest, instead 8 eagles in the neighborhood majestically soaring in the wind. So high that one's neck was strained and the tele-photo lens was stretched to its limit.

One eagle is always noticeable by its missing feather structure, see my earlier images

Thanks Christian for posting those pictures! Yes, I remember seeing that one with the missing wing feather before in some of your other photos. The other picture looks like it is a juvenile chasing an older eagle with the white head. They really do have beautiful feather markings! How satisfying it must be for you to be able to witness the eagle antics! How fortunate we are for having you to be our eyes for us. Many thanks! Smile
