Christian....ma sure does have a lot more notches in her feathers than pa. His wingspan looks so smooth and perfect. Almost impossible to see this kind of detail on the cam. I just love being able to double click the picture and the eagles are literally in my face. Specially the picture of the juvie this time. Super stuff. Thanks again for expanding my eagle horizon.

Christian.........again another outstanding set of pictures! It is so special to see close up views of these eagles as I only get to see the occasional one from a distance. I notice that Pa has lots of white feathers on his chest. I never noticed that before. I love the juvie pictures too! Thanks for sharing again!

Wooh Absolutely stunning once again Christian! Your captures of Pa show just how perfect his feathers look, sadly, unlike Ma. I guess she's been in more fierce battles. Don't Know The one of him standing before take off looks like a wooden sculpture. Clapping

Many many warm THANK YOU's for all these wonderful Sunday comments to Torontoeaglelover, jkr, carolyn, cococat9, Jean, Annie and Stim.

Well it got even better today, for some reason everything just worked out. Went to Ladner in the morning to walk the dogs and found Snowy Owls (took all these handheld with my 600mm lens - lol from all other photographers who had their tripods and were really wondering, haha)

Then in the afternoon 2 hours at the nest, and Ma features!

If ANYONE would like these as screensavers, please feel free, I formatted these in 19x10. If you would like other formats, drop me a note and I will get back to you.

WOW Christian Clapping Your latest photos of the White Rock eagles, the juvies and the owls are absolutely fantastic Right thumb up I have a 2x extender for my Sigma 500mm lens and I have taken photos without a tri or monopod and they have been pretty good quality. So, yes it can be done and you have done a marvellous job Nodding Thanks so much for sharing them with us.

Thanks Christian for the offer to use your photos as a screen saver. The snowy owl taking flight is now doing that on my laptop screen. Gorgeous! BTW....loving the pictures as always.
