10:54am...........Just taking a quick peek! Nice capture of the fledge Sharon! Now all 3 will be very hard to find! Right now I don't see any of them there, but they could be elsewhere close by.

:hello:Hi Carole and Judy!

3;16pm I don't see anyone at the moment.
This seems to be a nostalgic season for me. I am being reminded all the time of the early seasons of eagle watching...Way back in 2006 & 2007 .
Back then no one was sticking cameras in trees to watch birds or on to the backs of jeeps to find leopards and elephants in the wild for the public to watch over their computers. In 7 seasons an entire new internet experience has blossomed and matured and keeps getting better and better.
Richard Pitt had a huge part in making that happen and were it not for his knowledge I dare say we'd not likely be here today with the tremendous variety of cameras to see at the click of a mouse.
One of his innovations (and I didn't know this until yesterday) was that he wrote the computer program to allow this cam to pan around. The program isn't working and Ken and Mike haven't been able to sort out the problem. Sadly that means no automatic panning for this cam for now.
It's dissappointing to be sure, but I think about the years of watching the Sidney nests with simple fixed focus cameras and how we were so patient waiting and watching for a glimpse of Ma or Pa or 1 of the many fledglings they raised.
I am going to do the same here at Lafarge for the next while and will delight in catching a glimpse of this year's trio. I hope you will take some time each day and do the same. It will be worth it I'm sure.
Thanks to all of our wonderful Lafarge watchers!

4:54pm nothing of note to report.
If that is a bird in my last post it's not moved at all in all this time. :dunno:
