4:08pm it seems like the chick on the right is trying to nibble at something that is right by his beak. I think this is #2.

4;22pm mom departs the nest.
The trio are mid nest and seem happy just to stay close together.

4;46pm still alone and resting mid-nest.
I don't see any evidence of rain at the nest right now.

4;48pm #1 up for a poop shot.

Now #3 follows suit!! My oh my!! lots of 'business' from that one!!

5:12pm adult in with a small mammal -- taken by #1 who tried to swallow it
adult took it back and now a feeding underway

5:15pm 2nd adult arrives has a swath of grass
other adult now gone
1 returns to sit on bedroom perch then leaves

5:18pm chicks alone mid-nest near the swath of dry grass

5:20pm adult in at 1oclock had (or dug up) a huge something but not much was fed.
left again a few seconds later

Hi everyone! I was trying to do a few too many things at once to know who got what - but there was a feeding around 6 pm!

It's now 6:27 and all three are lying down. Looks as if the adult is still feeding the one nearest to her, though I think she is eating some as well..

6:28 just watched the last five minutes of a feed - lets were all up but now low in the nest with lots of food in their crops- parent eating the odd piece- quite a stretchy tough looking meal.. parent looks to be eating the skin

9:14pm just turned the cam on a couple of minutes ago and caught two of the lets up one had a ps and then the other got mad and gave him a bop they both had a little spat and ma? came off her guard branch and onto the nest to break it up by giving them a bedtime snack - didn't manage to get a scap of the spat but got ma hopping onto the nest to calm things down- she is prepping food right now- lots of defeathering.. white feathers.. gull perhaps?

9:20 not much meat here ..a couple of bites have been delivered but the lets look fairly sleepy - can see one head lifting to grab a bite
9:23 pm still delivering the odd bite but it hasn't generated a lot of excitement -oh just saw another hea lift to receive a bite

10:03pm.........Good evening all! Gd, Terry, Carole and JudyB, I'm glad you could get here to post some observations and s'caps! What a dreary day it has been. Those poor birds mustn't have had much fun trying to stay dry. I would have posted sooner but the cable was off here for a couple of hours tonight. Really messed up my TV/computer time! This is the clearest s'cap I could get tonight. The camera is really blurry. All looks quiet on the nest. I assume they are all sleeping although I did see some minor movement from a babe in the nest.
