3:20pm mom is up to fuss in the bowl... I can see one bobble peeking out in front of her

3:25pm mom is up to feed. quite sure I can see 2 distinct bobbles (finally!)

3:28pm mom is settling over the chicks again

3:32pm dad on the AN Rail

3:34pm pan back to nest and all is calm.

3:56pm all quiet on the nest. I think there may be a few raindrops on mom's back but I'm not sure.

4:02pm mom is calling out and looking all around

4:06pm mom is up and circles around the bowl -- quick glimpse of motion in the bowl and mom is settling now to face about 10oclock

4:20p...feeding time. I see 2 now. One one either side of the branch.

4:19pm Dad arrives --- seems to have a prey item
he is eating and mom is up and away
dad makes offerings though the chick/s are hidden behind the tree trunk
4:21pm saw 1 bobble facing dad and 2nd sems to be facing away from the food and further to the left side of the tree trunk

cam keeps freezing...

4:28pm dad was settled facing 4oclock but got up as I began to post and is now fussing in the bowl and settles (for now) facing 12oclock


4:32pm AN rail is empty.

Thank you to Ken/Mike for their adjustment to the panning cycle of this camera. It is now a much better routine... giving us a short look at the Artificial Nest and much more time directed at the nest.


5:00pm clearly it is raining and our adult is in a partial mumbrella position to protect the chicks.

5:47pm all is well. Dad? is shifting around a wee bit now and then and is looking down in front of himself -- I saw a bit of movement as he shifted. I guess the chicks are a fidgeting around under there.
