Thanks, Terry - and a good question. I knew I'd seen pictures taken from a park with trees, but didn't have any idea how far away that was.

Here is a picture taken from google -- as if standing on the street behind the bench we sit on. The Tree is in the Orange Circle. I don't know when it was taken. If you look carefully you can see a chain link fence -- it is now over grown with blackberry bushes. The ground slopes down slightly as you walk across the grass from the bench to the fence.

Thanks for the views of the area, Terry and gemini - definitely more trees than I'd realized from the view provided by the cam! I guess Mom just likes her nest.

Looks as if Mom is back at the nest for the evening.

12:07 am Looks like Mom is on the "sleeping branch" for the night!



4:29 am She was awake and preening and looking around for a couple of minutes then back to sleep again! Not much has changed!

2:06 pm Both at home at the moment. One on the left perch branch and the other snuggled down into the nest bow!

I drove by the nest this morning at about 11:00 am but no one was home then, so didn't get any pics this time.
