3:05pm the nest is bathed in purple light at the moment. I keep missing a decent look at the nest but at least 1 eagle is on the nest/in the tree at the moment

4:55pm I can't see any eagle as the cam pans at the moment.

5:03pm the adult that was on the left side of the tree is gone now... Other one remains perched on the right side of the tree.

5:47pm 1 adult has been on the left side perch branch for a while not sure where the other is...

2nd? adult on left side of the tree for sure and now one on the right side too I think

10:48pm 1 adult sleeping on the nest at the moment.

10:54 pm At least one in the nest tree tonight - on the 'sleeping branch'. Can't see the second one. Thought the second eagle was on the branch to the right but upon closer inspection realized it was nothing more than wet leaves! It is difficult to tell if you are looking at leaves or a white head sometimes!

8:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13th.

Both Mom and Dad are in the nest doing a bit of housekeeping.


Oh lovely --- Dad is determined that our camera cable doesn't belong in his tree.

By the time the camera made a full loop both eagles had flown off.

8:21 a.m.
Dad returned with a nice branch.


He's being watched by a fat crow (on the right) and Dad isn't in the least bit bothered by it. Funny how he tolerates them so well when nesting season is over but they would become lunch if there were chicks on the nest.


When the camera panned out there were at least 6 crows in the tree and Dad was still busy in the nest bowl.
