Here are some of the pics of the first feeding this morning. Debbie you were not seeing things. Too bad the cam was off so soon after you were seeing what you were seeing.







In the third pic you can see that mom has moved over toward 3 and both chicks have turned to face her. Oh....those little eyes.

Just got the cam up in time to see two chicks - and a feeding! WOW!

Thanks for the great pictures, eaglet! Looks as if there might have been a hatch underway like you suspected, Debbie!

A couple more pictures, which are pretty similar - but they are our first chicks this year, so....





It looked as if one got most of the food, which makes sense as the other one is probably too new to stay upright, and doesn't need to eat for hours after hatching.

I have a few of mom feeding the lets at 11:22 to 11:39. That was not all feeding time, but the time frame of the snaps. It appeared that both eaglets ate a few bites at this feeding. They sure were reaching forward for food even though they toppled over too.

Mom resumes feeding the babies...they look eager to eat...this looks like baby took a bite...other one is waiting.. they are so adorable and strong....

WOW...a nest full of brand new bobbleheads!! Is there anything quite as cute to all of us aunties? (and uncles) Thank you for all the beautiful scaps of those beautiful fuzzy headed babies. I just love looking at those little black eyes when they gaze up at Mom!!!! Double congratulations to Mom and Dad JL!!!
