It is raining there..

Squeak is settling on the nest..has hger back to us wiggling on the chick and egg

I checked on Squeak a few times today... and i did see her feed the chick a couple of times too..

4:40pm
Still raining ..nest bowl is unattended


4:44pm
Squeak come flying in .. settles right away on the nest



4:45pm
She is incubating the egg and brooding the baby

4:56pm
Mom is feeding the chick


Settles back on the nest

5:26pm
Another feeding and Mom settles in the nest

5:39pm
Beautiful Squeak in incubating her egg and brooding her baby.. wind has died down..



I heard from Eric about our concerns about the nest.. and he confirmed it was the angle of the cam..

I had a look at that but it's just the angle of the camera and branch. Nothing is in the way and it may have been wind that gave her a hard time getting into the nest. She also had at least one of her chicks hatch and that probably came as a big surprise to her too.

Mom is back.. she is feeding the chick.. looks like baby is taking some




Mom settles on the nest

Mom is wiggling all around on the nest bowl and resumes incubating and brooding
