Ok when Osprey was leaving i saw what looks like tail feathers here ..missed it on scap.. i think there is an intruder around..again JMO

Bev, are you thinking this is a new pair trying to take over the nest and Oscar is being kept off? These two on the nest right now seem pretty comfortable with each other.

THis looks like resident male defending his territory on the left edge of the nest..Female is to the right

Darlene.. I am thinking that the resident male Oscar... is in the nest at the moment with a female..that looks very much like Ethel... and he is defending his nest from another male ..JMO

Both Osprey on the nest ...one leaves and come back mounting the female...from the air.. classic Osprey behaviour... are we seeing a mating .... .

I thought it looked like Ethel too but didn't watch enough last year to be sure. I am running video and will edit it in a bit as they are on and off. I wonder if Ethel has been off with another man and brought him home?

Darlene...You have me in stitches here... anything is possible...but seriously .i think that was the resident Oscar on the nest with what looks like Ethel... looking forward to your video.. did you get the mating.. i am sure Oscar came back and mounted the female again.. i missed it on scap...
