2.37 Just before dad appeared for a mating




This is when she just started to call before dad suddenly appeared to bond. I am not sure if dad was on the nest or not as the cam was zoomed in on Lady D. I didn't get any snaps of the bonding.

ABout 5:10pm they both arrived at the nest. Both worked on adjusting sticks.

Then DT lay down and issued a blatant invitation


Dad turned and mounted, but missed


He then dismounted turned and stood burying DT under his wing/chest


DT stood up, pushing Dad's wing up off her head. They both moved up to the love branch where a mating did take place - images in a bit

DT was first up to the love branch. Dad did a bit more fussing with the sticks. He then joined her. She immediately begin chattering at him. Must not have been nice things she was saying as she

He hung his head down, then did his duty. He mounted


Performed satisfactorily


Flew away, leaving DT on the love branch alone. He just returned at 544 with a new stick. DT staying on the branch watching him place it.

It's dark but someone is there on the nest...well on the love branch.
