1.33 Looks like she was checking out the nest with her beak, but didn't really move her talons from where she has been "roosting" all night.

Here are a couple shots of some reaching under her tail.

1.42 - 1.46 Shakes a bit. Moves a few sticks in nest bowl. And positions her self in the bowl facing 2.

2 am... Resting. It is fascinating to watch a first time mama eagle-to-be (hopefully) follow her instincts with her first real nest/home.

Sitting eagle Fascinating indeed, Judy, but also fatiguing, Smile

2:39 am. DT awakes and looks around while still in the nest bowl, then stands and finally shuffles back a bit, still looking around, flares wings slightly.
2:53-54 She walks forward and fly-hops up to her favorite perch branch. It had looked hopeful several times this evening but now time to sayGood night

Good morning everyone! Maybe today...

6:32 (nest clock time) tuned in to see both working away in the nest. They both left 2 minutes later.

Good Morning Everyone.....
Great pictures! What an anxious night it was.
Looks like a beautiful day in the gardens and for DT to lay an egg.

BET...how is the new puppy? Same breed as Rita? Name?
