Nevermind the fact that I'd bet a lot of the traffic that the gardens get is due to the eagles! That's the only reason I would go!

Here are a few s'caps from the video of Ed Clark and the eagle which is a large 5 month old female..

The WCV did another successful eagle release today, 8/2, at Berkley Plantation. It looked as if it was a much smaller juvie that the one yesterday so perhaps it was a male. It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this news. On Monday, July 30, 2012 eagle cam moderator Freebird, Rosanne Santillo, lost her battle with cancer. Her daughter contacted us last night. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time . . .


Fly high, Freebird, with the beautiful eagles that you loved so well. May Mom Norfolk watch over you.

Thank you for bringing this here Mary. I haven't been visiting the chat but I had sent her a note of encouragement when she got sick! I'm so sorry to hear of her passing! Fly free with the eagles Freebird!

Oh such sad news heartfelt sympathies to all of Rosanne Santillo's family and large circle of friends and loved ones

Still another article on the removal of the three eagle nests in the Norfolk Botanical Gardens----I still think that Dad would just get busy and build a new one--that's home to him!
