Hi Nancy!
Who is your gorgeous avatar? I could hear the collective "sad sigh" from all the legions watching through the moderated blog when she left the nest, even without being there watching the cam.
She seems to be a very good match for him come what may. He needed a companion.

Thanks Nancy for your beautiful scaps/reports. I give a hands up to the mods too on the repetition of the same questions over and over. They are amazing and so patient!
I think Pa and #4 are beautiful together and mostly would like to see an egg this year just to strengthen their bond. I personally just want to see him settled and there would be a better chance of that if #4 could produce an egg. Otherwise she will spend the next year fending off all these ladies that want dad.
I adopted the Delta2 nest!

Dad had been on the nest for quite awhile when #4 flew in with a fish --( my reception froze so I missed some of it)

She took the fish to the back edge and ate about half of it. Flew up to the branch and then off. Dad looked at the leftovers which were draped over the nest sticks. Finally decided to eat some - he has had some bites and now is just standing there with his feet on it looking about

The forum was down when I took these images.
Both eagles were home - Dad left and returned
