Yep it's her. I'm so happy to see her resting in the nest tonight. If her talons were injured from all the fighting she has been through it will probably do her good to rest them in the soft nest materials tonight!

Video Camera Dad Norfolk Made up his Mind

Earlier, Dad Norfolk and Female #4 spent time together. Dad left and returned a few minutes later to arrange a stick in the nest. At the end of this video, they are both working on the nest. Hopefully, Female #4 will soon become Mom Norfolk. She doesn't seem very submissive now.

Hi everyone... It is really great to see #4 actually in the nest tonight. It was interesting reading back regarding the discussion of #4's talons. Hopefully... it is just that she is one tough female and has some war wounds along with dirt etc... (and doesn't care about her looks LOL) and will do anything to get what she NEEDS. That is what dad needs... A tough one like his dearest late mate. I do find it interesting how much more noted beaking is going on with dad and #4, that I am noticing, compared to sweet DT/ #3 . I guess being sweet doesn't ultimately win dad's devotion. Hopefully #4 will produce for dad. It makes me think she is very ready and fertile given her persistance to have this new home...

Thanks Beans! It was great to see them bot on the nest and to see dad trying to do some reinforcements on the damaged side of the nest!

I hope that those of you who want to believe that her feet are dirty might be right but I've been looking at those darn feet ever since she appeared and they don't look right to me. The aren't even knobby in some places and some of the toes look malformed in some pics. In 7 years I've looked at more than a few feet and these definitely aren't yellow.

Lori...Did you send Bev the enlarges pictures?

Starr...the only disease I know of is Avian Pox. It affects the featherless parts of the bird. She could have survived something like that. Think I will go look.

Well if she has survived Avion Pox, that is all the more reason for me to want her to remain with dad. Wouldn't she pass those immunities on to future eaglets? Hmm, I'm going to go do some research!

11:30pm She just stood up - defecated - flew up to the love branch - it did appear that she opened her mouth at one time but I had the sound muted so didn't hear anything
