Mary.. There is definitely a color difference between dad and Eagle number four.. I also think it's been noticed by the people in the garden because the camera is zooming on her feet.. I only hope that we are not dealing with any kind of disease.. And maybe you're right Lori could be tar or dirt and the lighting at the nest changes.. I'm only hoping for the best dad if decides to make this Eagle his mate. Any information that we can find would be helpful..

BET.. great picture of # 4 feet

eta.. I did Google colors of bald eagles feet, of course I only found the typical color yellow.. When I have more time I will try to find information about any diseases that affect Eagles feet

:hello:

I sent 4 shots off to Bev Day's personal email so when she gets back to me I'll post it here.

I googled it worded 50 ways Starr and came up empty, I kept getting PDF's about electrocution. I'm really hoping it's something she stood in and it stained her. That's highly possible in my mind cause they are scavengers

Yes the people at the Garden have been questioned numerous times about the feet. THe mod board - who will only make a positive statement when they know for sure or Mr Lukei tells them - states that the discoloration is probably blood/guts mixed with dirt that is staining the creases.

She needs to go wading in the bay and get them cleaned if that is the case. Maybe better dirty feet than DT's dirty beak

Lori, cute scap from the video!love

10:12 Is this #4 in the nest? She was up on the branch a minute ago and I looked away and heard a noise. When i looked back there was an eagle in the nest and not on the love branch!

I don't know - was away from the computer for an hour plus

Didn't record as I assumed (yes indeed wrongly is the right word) she would stay on the branch as she has for the last 3 nights. Now I will have to pay close attention and keep refreshing - no mods keeping the post
