Dad looks handsome as ever. It was mentioned on the mod board that he brought in some nest material. Another hopeful sign. I'm with you all in the thought that DT is staying away till the turmoil subsides. I want to believe that Dad and DT have been in communication and he is telling her to keep her distance and he will take care of the situation. She is laying low in a real good hiding place. Hopefully with all the photographers out someone will spot her. I am staying upbeat, positive and sending good vibes to the nest.

Good morning everyone! GailM, great scaps! Judy H, I see you had a short night too I'm diappointed that DT hasn't shown up and losing my optomisim about her. I guess we will just have to watch and see. Poor dad!

Good Morning All - I went back to bed this am. The last couple of early mornings took their toll on me. I did check at 4:30 am and no DT and a quick look at the Mod Board told me she still hasn't been sighted - sigh A quick clance at the forum and I see our early morning viewers have been posting -

Dad, stil patiently waiting. (With a huge number of humans on the internet waiting with him)


Edit PS: There are 10,934 on the Mod board at this time. Although most read only, it is a wonder that the Mods can watch, take screen caps, read the questions, post them and answer them. I have a migraine imagining it.

I too have become slightly discouraged, yet, I guess it is too early for that. The roller coaster ride has been non-stop. I am in awe of the mods on the discussion as they are able to juggle so nicely and Reese is a wonderful help. it helps to vocalize instead of holding in feelings.

I am also hoping DT comes back but if not I'll take #4 she is a fighter and may be a good nest defender also she may lay eggs this year if dad sees her as a good mom,just saying we have no say and I would like to see some egg action whom ever that may be.We know dad has bonded with DT,but now we find out how strong that bond is since there has never been any parenting between them, the eagles instinct is easy survive and that means reproduction.

Hi Mary.. Lost me! Never.. I've never had this cam off I'm emotionally bonded to this nest.. Sometimes real life takes over.I don't have as much time as I would like to... So much has happened with all the nest out here Sidney nest an the Hornby cam down ...it's nice to know I can always come back home to this nest.. Especially since I'm in the adopted program and I'm the mommy Eagle for Azalea & Camellia..... If I remember correctly your in the program too? .I was hoping the last season they would have the adopted program again.
I have mixed feelings today watching dad in the nest he looks so peaceful and not running around chasing Eagles maybe he's telling us I like being alone lol, but I know that's not true.. I'm just putting my human emotions out here.. Anyway I'm still hopeful that we will produce at least one chick this season.. When is the cutoff date ? I forget I think in April the end of April.. We have beautiful close-up shots of dad on the nest. So going to add just one more and save the rest.
