9:42-9:45 Reese is reporting that the intruder female is on a branch to the right of dad. He zoomed in for a better view of her.

9:48 Intruder flies overhead calling. She is moving around from tree to tree.

9:51 The intruder is flying around overhead again.
Dad has not moved from his perch.
All snaps are from the NBG cams. When Reese zooms the signature is not on the screen.

Good Morning ~ hope it gets better soon for this nest. Thanks everyone for keeping up to date with all the postings from the mod squad and Reese. As rough as all of this is to watch I am getting an invaluable education.

Another day of uncertainty. What a way to start the morning. I reviewed my clips I took earlier (Puppy had to go out at 3 am) Dad's calls sound rather forlorn. I know - humanizing - but the quiet repetitious call just seems to me to say - come home come home come home ...
Reese certainly has been on top of the situation - the Mod board more than helpful - particularly in preventing a lot of wild speculation
For a note of humour - The sound is wonderful, really enhances the viewing, and the gurgling of the water in the fountain - rather peaceful - but every so often it sounds like a toilet flushing

This is riveting. We hope that DT and Dad get back on the nest, and in the meanwhile just don't know. Who is #4 female and what is her story? Calm would be lovely.......(sorry about 3 am BET - pups do that)

Dad returns to the nest - starts moving a stick about - so maybe he is going to keep his mind occupied by being busy - gone now

and Female #4
note how how she has a lot more dark feathering around her eye socket and on the crown of her head than DT. She also has a more gold beak than DT

Two eagles flew toward the nest - one went to another tree.
Dad landed on the back of the nest - note the feather damage on his chest from the fight

Moved to center just looking about - mainly toward the back area
