Jean.....glad you are ok & have that procedure behind you. Your back yard sounds lovely and i can just picture it in my mind, soon all dressed up in it's Spring attair. Smile

The yard work started early here as we had such a mild winter. I always enjoy the work at first but it doesn't take long to tire of it after the summer heat arrives.

I did plant some squash & cucumber seeds last week. They should be sprouting soon. The garlic i planted last fall is growing nicely & will be ready to harvest in early summer. Tomato plants will come next. I have their bed prepared & waiting. Southern peas & okra after that.......if i get their bed ready. I keep it all on small scale but digging the beds is always the hardest part. Phew. I remember you speaking of growing up in the country, so you know what i mean. Nodding

Please get your rest & take care of that eye & write when you can.

Smile

Dearest Friend Naoma. Yes I woud love that but I woul help too. Have you ever planted( wild green onions) delicious and great for using in some soup's or other things .

I get down sometime myself and now is one of the times when I seem to be having all kinds of problems. My left eye is slow to get better and it is cloudy but The Dr. gave me a bottle of eye drops and it will eventuly get rid of it. Most annoying Naoma I tell you. I think I am getting along now but have to slow down I have been sleeping a lot to try and comonsate lost rest. Your see I have to do all the driving where Gabe
is prohibited on account of his eys too. Little do they know I drive with this too haha THe Dr. we saw was pleasant but there was a little girl I'd say about 5-6 cute kid .So while the Dr was writing up the eye news we had a fast game of ball. haha it was a soft fluffy cloth ball well she loved that ,then a big fat guy came in and he also joined into the ball game , then Gabe sat down and she also threw him the ball We have a good ball game going in the office hahahaha ( smile. )then her grandma came out from having her eyes looked at and they left. I kept my eyes on her so she wouldn't wonder out of the office and that is why we had quite a ball game Beautiful keen and smart little thing to ,I thought to myself how easy it would be for some( animalperson) come along and snatch her up and take her away. So I became a grandma hen for 1/2 an hr. haha Actually I was( tired out haha) but visulent.. One never knows these days what can happen huh?
So Iam doing ok sun shinnng but still cool to-day.Your Always in my heart Naoma, such a sweet , lovely lady. You shine like the sun...Beautiful. wave :Mug of coffeeHere's to ya Naomawave

I sent this poem so you could see my favourite writer's
writing >>A poem by Chief Dan Georgeshare on
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The beauty of the trees, the softness of the air,
the fragrance of the grass speaks to me.
The summit of the mountain, the thunder of the sky,
The rhythm of the sea, speaks to me.
The faintness of the stars, the freshness of the morning,
the dewdrop on the flower, speaks to me.
The strength of the fire, the taste of salmon, the trail of the sun,
and the life that never goes away, they speak to me
And my heart soars.

Chief Dan is a tremendous writer and I have followed him like a hawk...Thank you Chief. It is always great to see your work. This fits my loving of the great earth so much Jean

Hello & A Good Evening to You Jean.....

What a lovely post from you today! Smile

I have planted green onions before and i love them. They have such a nice flavor & add pretty color to any dish. Nodding

I'm sure that extra sleep & rest is just what you need to revitalize your body after what you've been thru during this past winter. Our body always tell us what we need to recover.

The driving is surely a chore for you with your eyes. I know your precious Gabe appreciates all you do for him & vice versa. The little girl in the Doctor's office sounds delightful and of course with your big loving heart you felt led to look after her. That is just how you are. I bet she'll always have fond memories of the fun of the ball game with you & Gabe.

What lovely words you have for me, Jean, & you as well are like Sunshine. Thank You for the cup of tea. Smile

Your Chief Dan Georgeshare certainly writes beautifully. His words flow as naturally as nature itself. They are very easy to love & they do sound just like you. Red Heart

Sending Good Night Wishes your Way. hug
