Hi Jean and Naoma,

I very much appreciate your kind comments about my photos and I'm glad you are enjoying them. I love getting out in the nice weather to see and photograph the ducks, swans, herons, eagles, and all other wildlife I see in my area. The swans and ducks eat the seed right out of my hand.

We have had some nasty weather here on the west coast of BC and there has been snow on the mountains. No snow here in Victoria but lots of wind and rain the past few days.

Naoma, your 'friend' message is beautiful. That eagle pic certainly is a fantastic one:thumrht: I wish I was able to attend the FVBEF this year but I've already had a lot of vacation time. I'll keep it in mind and do some planning for next year's festival.

Jean, I laugh when you call yourself the old hen. I love your humour and I hope that I am as witty and alert as you are when I'm 85:nod:

You both really light up my life. I am so glad to have you both as friendz. I have been a busy old soul( smile) and still going , all day yesterday driving looking for a certain place and got myself lost. Oh boy. imagine. A Nice woman showed me the way haha, I have lived here a long time and I be darned I could not find the new store that opened, haha..
Old is old I still drive and love that, I was a racer in the good old days and had fun racing cars. so I am a good driver still. Everything is workable so far hahahah even at this ripe old age,?????Im thinking BRAIN mostly( hah) but I cannot run haha.
The sun is shinning but the wind is a cold Northern one.
Our Miel is beautiful she had a full beauty treatment yesterday shampoo etc and she sure is white with ((black accerarie's tip of tail and ears))a bit of r tan too andshe had her toe nail clipped. We just love her. She sits by my side all the time.when Iam here or at our table. My friend indeed. She has big darkbrown eyes and they are beautiful Large... There is a lady that brings our meal on wheels twice a week and Miel just loves her and she Meil. The lady has 3 of her own and love's Ours too. Well the eagle picture is after a fight two eagles had It was an awsome sight THe one eagle had its head under water but came up slowly mean while the little duck got away from both eagles thankgoodness wish I could put the action on but I can't . It was hairy.. Not liked by me,.cannot tolerate killing... That was enough for me but glad the little duck got away.Jean
