We are just now getting some fall color. I am so happy the long hot & dry summer has past. We've gotten a little rain here & there so things are green again. I rode by the lake & noticed it is about 5 ft. low. One big heavy rain would fill it back to normal but the slow gentle rains are best for the countrysides.

With the dry summer the poor ranchers here have had to buy hay rather than grow & cut it. Last year at this time the huge rolls of hay went for $30.......this year $l30. Many have chose to sell off their livestock as it's so expensive to feed them. Hopefully we won't see another summer like the last for a long time.

If i recall correctly, you lived on a farm growing up. I'm sure you know all the ups & downs of that life. :nod:

I sure hope your back is better. How is it coming along? I also hope you are about thru with the medication you were to take until this month. I know you do not like the way it makes you feel.

We had almost 80 deg. F. here today & high winds. A cool front is working it's way towards us and bringing rain. I'm glad for the rain.

I imagine it is cold where you are. I read you talking about snow coming soon.

How is that Meil of yours?
