Good Morning in Singing Bird Lane!

Hello Ladies,.. it is a cool 53 F... 12 C this morning but sunny! We have been haivng great summer weather here in Michigan.

Jean... I just love to hear about your past! your stories are wonderful to read. Keep them coming!!! and your flowers are beautiful and look so fresh! We will go going to the cabin later this week... can't believe it is Labor Day already. Where has the summer gone? Did you get any rain or wind from Irene?

Jas... see what I mean about Jean and how she tells us such interesting stories of her life. your photos you post are cute.

Naoma...thank you for your kind words.. how sweet of you. I enjoy you too! I see a little rain on the radar sometimes in north central TX but not sure if you are getting any of it. It's not much and in a small area but I hope it is getting to you sometimes.

Vicki...
how are you and Munch too? hope you are well!!!

On the other threads I have been posting photos of Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes that is here on the weat coast of Michigan on Lake Michigan. Thought I would share some with you all! Hope you like them. I have a lot of these same photo shots in my personal albums but I would have to scan them in order to post them for you but these are just as pretty or prettier.

Have a good day!

These are the cleanest people in the world and MY gggGrandfather came from Germany.1700's So i set out to try and talk the laguage by learning from them to no avail. Learned a bit though But I did learn Dankeshun ( Thankyou and guten ta and a few word but could no get the old tongue too work I know table was called a Tish( haha)I asked the man if He knew is any Dainards lived there and he s Ya, fel gil Meaning rich as it was the name Deinhard came up . Not far from where we lived and never got to see the Place I was heart broken . So in the stores if you see the wine and the name that is my relation.Green label is excellent I did have almost a failure from a tubal pregnacy and if it hadn't been for the wonderful Dr. I would not have come home.My Danny was only l two then . He looked after me day and night never leaving me,and a dear old nun brought me food she said you must essen or you must eat and she would spoonfeed me. I came home thanks to those 2 remarkable people. People did sell it but the name lives on.We had fun in Germany for those 3 years Daniel was 2 when we went over He played with the German children and picked up the language We came home and he would NOT speak a word of it. haha funny huh?

Diane, Sleeping Bear Dunes looks like a tropical paradise-how beautiful.
Jean, I love the smell of laundry that dries outside. It reminds me of being a little girl when my mom used to hang our linens outside. I loved the smell and the crisp feel of the sheets. Thanks for the memoriesRed Heart
