We have been having great summer weather the past week or so. I pray that Texas will get some relief soon. Such a sad sitiation.

Jean... how are you? Is Miel getting better about her chewing on things? Has she been leaving the rugs alone? I bet she is a fast little puppy when it comes to rinning!

Naoma.... How are you too? This heat/drought has just got to be such a strain on your lives. I hope Zeak is doing ok with that thick fur coat. Not only do the people suffer but the animals too. I know you take care of Zeak but others don't.

Have to get my day started... It's Friday! So the next 3 days are usually busy for me...

**Naoma words are inadiquate to say but Thankyou for your kindness , Iam speechless.Please know Iam just an average person Naoma but I do admire good friends such as you are and Diane. Two lovely and kind, considerate ladies and my friends what more could I ask for. I do hope you get some relief from the heat that you have in Texas, it must be hard on your animals too.Like Diane said hope you get some rain to help. Diane Miel is not chewing on things now , . She has chewables she can chew on now but , I think she likes to try out a few other things too haha Gabe takes her out for walks...to help the bordom

Dig the quill. Can you imagine writing that way now but at least the writing was beautiful , Now it is not a pro thing I was amazed at the writing of my youngest grandaughter . You can be sure I hopped on that quick and told her how to hold her penceil or pen. haha Grandma's do help out ya know haha We took lessons when I went to school on Writing and Iam pleased to say My writing is very good and very readable. Thanks to a teacher that cared. era 1930's .She was so Sophisticated. and a wonderful Teacher. I hated Math. though still do but it is sooooo neccessary haha Fractions especially ugh .Loved History and Geography and Science., Heath and Spelling and Poetry& "Recess's" Excelled in those.ha

Hello my singing bird friends.

So good to read your posts & feel the love in them. No rain in sight, still hot hot every day. I did work outside early this morning but it's just not enjoyable like it was.....and will be again as soon as this heat spell breaks. I still say, again, that here in texas we deal with the summers the way you ladies deal with the winters; one day at a time.


Jean, the pink flowers & the raindrop picture are so pretty as is Diane's beautiful gift of the rose she received & passed on to us.
