TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING
THROUGH THE DESERT . DURING SOME POINT OF THE
JOURNEY, THEY HAD ANARGUMENT; AND ONE FRIEND
SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE IN THE FACE
THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT
SAYING ANYTHING,WROTE IN THE SAND ,
TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE .
THEY KEPT ON WALKING,UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,
WHERE THEY DECIDEDTO TAKE A BATH.
THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE
MIRE AND STARTED DROWNING, BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM.
AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM THE NEAR DROWNING,
HE WROTE ON A STONE:
'TODAY MY BEST FRIENDSAVED MY LIFE
THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND
ASKED HIM, 'AFTER I HURT YOU, YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,
YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?'
THE FRIEND REPLIED'WHEN SOMEONE HURTS BUT WHEN SOMEONE DOES SOMETHING GOOD FOR US


WE MUST ENGRAVE IT SOMEWHERE NO WIND

CAN EVER ERASE IT

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND

AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE


THEY SAY IT TAKES A

MINUTE TO FIND A SPECIALPERSON,

AN HOUR TOAPPRECIATE THEM,

A DAY TO LOVE THEM,

BUT THEN ,

AN ENTIRE LIFE TO FORGET THEM.

SEND THIS TOTHE PEOPLE YOU'LL NEVER

FORGET.

This is when I had won my silver cup for singing.
The rose bushes were at our school so the teacher took the picture of me there. Roses.and all I sang the year of 1938 I was 12 yrs old then I think.+ I wonder what will happen to it after I am gone... ??I am still so proud of this beautiful silver cup..."Inococense personified" 73 years ago.. Iam now 85 in Oct.2011:We weren't rich by any means, my dear sweet mother worked in the factory to make enough money to dress my sister and me and herself, we lived with grandma and grandma the 2 saints if ever there were.She led us through some hard times. I can still talk about it, imagine that for Iam still here.. All have gone before me,I don;t ever remember being sad in those days. I lived and learned.

I don;t want to talk to much about this as the tears may come but my little stone school house that I went to many eon's ago sits still and so silent and with out care when I went to see it,it is derlick. grass so high around, doesn't anyone care anymore to save these wonderful buildings.So sad So sad oh so sad .

PS Naoma you are a jewel yourself and a wonderful person to say such sweet things, Iam just me Naoma happy in my lifes work of helping people understand who they are and why especially my family., of whom I am so proud of .Also to have friends like you and Diane,and Vickie, knowing your all ok. just makes my day complete and I rest.

Good Morning...

We have a VERY busy weekend. Since Dennis didn't have to work Sat. we had 2 full days to get things done around here. Any time off of work we go to the cabin so sometimes things get behind here but we did pretty good catching up on some things over the weekend.

Jean... Awww... I love to read about your younger days! Very interesting and I know your Mother was a good provider and your grandmother too. I could feel the love your family had for each other.... and love is what helped you through tough times.
