Jean, sorry you're feeling under the weather. I've been cranky lately & i'm beginning to think i have "cabin fever". I know that's a winter thing, but this heat makes it difficult to be outside; same as when it's too cold in winter. Is cabin fever even possible in the summer?

Good Evening Wishes Your Way.

Yep one can get cabin fever anytime..
Summer cabin fever
We think about cabin fever as a winter disease. People get snowed in for
weeks, can’t even go outside. They get sick of everything they are doing indoors, and start snapping at one another.. This can be a serious circumstance. People trapped together in extreme cases of cabin
fever have been known to start fighting, physically, and do harm to one another I believe cabin fever can break out during long hot summers, too. My partner and the dog and I have been spending
a lot of time in this old househere... Some days are so wicked and unpleasant that we don’t even go out except for
short pop-outs and pop-back-ins. I notice lately that we tend to disagree more, and argue, about minor matters
that aren’t even worth disagreement. Maybe we’re in the early stages of summer cabin fever. Maybe we need to load upand go back to town for a while.
How are things going at your house? Have you detected any symptoms of summer cabin fever?

MMMMM no yet, some have I guess. I go out to my backyard when it is nice and walk around doing different things Flowers etc. then I come back in and have a wonderful rest. None of that cabin fever for us. We have Miel... BUSY LITTLE THING IF EVER THERE WAS ONE....NAOMA GET A LITTLE PLASTIC bath 2ft in diameter and sit there on your porch with your feet in the water sure helps.with the heat problem . Jean

Good Morning...

Jean.. I hope you find what you need to perk you up some. Don't like you being under the weather! Do you ever take Miel for walks?

We had storms all night long.. lots of thunder and lighting and it is still raining and it started about 5:00 yesterday afternoon. We did need the rain though.

Naoma... good to see you!!! how are you besides HOT? yes... cabin fever in the summer too!

Vicki... I think you are on your trip now... have a great time! Be Safe!

Good Morning all. A nice summer's day here , a pleasant breeze and the sun is shinning. What more could we ask for huh? Miel is a going concern and loves to play ball. She races to get it and brings it back to us so we can throw it some more. But there are things to be done around the house so we have to put her in her crate for awhile to calm down. Puppies love playing and she gets her share. haha
So Stay safe all ... hope to hear from you soon.Jean

Ps We have a large back yard and Miel love to play there and yes she gets many walks with us. My body is not functioning well so the complaint came. I hit my left toes on a board and they are all black and blue an hurt like the dickens. Sorry for complaining.

Good Morning Jean & Diane......i so look forward to the temps falling below 100. Last night at 7:30 pm it was still 103 deg F. I do go outside for a very short time, then come in to cool off. Jean, i like your idea about cooling off the feet while sitting outside. I have a small sprinkler i can turn on low & i think that will work nicely.
Thank You

Beautiful sunrise blessed us here this morning.

Thank your for your kindness Diane re toes.My poor little pinkies still feel the aftermath of that board.
Very lazy day to-day seemed rather hot and humid the rain did not materialize very much just a few punny drops. haha

I feel off centre for some peculiar reason. Poor little Miel has been hot all day.

We will soon have to have her clipped, she has gorgeous silky hair and looks so cute. When she goes for walks people stop and ask where did you get that beauty. Makes us kind glad she is ours. Intellegent and fun.

The heat must be awful for you Naoma, I really feel for you, what do your animals do when it's like that????? We think 80^ is hot it's nothing to what you are getting my goodness..

I guess Vickie is off having a well earned visit in the USA.Hope she has a good time and rest.
Have to go now. stay safe all. The Old hen Left thumb up
