Landing with more plastic.

Sorry. Looks like I've forgotten how to post images. It only shows a link.
fixed - the trick is to use FILE tags rather than IMG tags for attachments; hope you don't mind ~JudyB

What in the world? Plastic? What are they thinking? I sure wish they could bring back a tasty meal, God knows they all need it!

This is my first time here today and it appears to me these poor babies are not being fed enough. They look so forlorn. I've been watching the Decorah Iowa and Minnesota Bound cams and those babies are so well fed and they look it. I hope the mom and dad eagle here start bringing more food, more often. Am I assessing this wrong? I hope so.

If you go back through the pages, some of the other Aunties have explained it better but for this nest and I've only watched since last year] but we refer to it as the 'feast or famine' nest. Once last year, the parents brought so many rodents that the baby ended up laying down on one, she was stuffed. And other times, she would go a day without any food. This nest is surrounded by farm land. With this angle, you cannot see the blueberry fields but they are down there. And there must be a water way that has ducks because the occasional duck is brought in too. But it is the nature of the beast for this nest.
I forgot to say welcome to the Delta 2 board and that being able to procure food here depends on different situations such as weather.
