Linux is back at center nest relaxing.
I wish GW would show a bit of interest in preening/browsing/flapping. She is so subdued.

The only way I can tell these two apart is that GW has had quite a thick looking neck/crop area the past couple of days, whereas, Linux has a thinner neck. IMHO he seems smaller than GW so I am assuming he is likely a male.

I have been thinking the same about Gold Wing judging by size, the other eaglet (Linux) is broader across. Gold Wing still seems to be uncomfortable (that is only my opinion). I hope that whatever he had ingested gets resolved either thought PS or a nice healthy Yak. These little guys are so special

Seeing a lot of concern about this eaglets at other nest sites/cams. What's the real story re M&D feeding and condition of eaglets?

As far as we can tell Goldwing may have swallowed something a bit too large and it was stuck in her crop. According to Bev at OWL it could take many hours for it to resolve itself. We are hoping for the best.

GW backed up for a poopshoot a minute ago. I was holding my breath while she was backing up because there was nowhere to go. If she had moved one more step we would have had to call Bev


ETA: A note about all the garbage. Apparently it is not all from the dump. Farmers in the area are tossing trash into piles, and of course the eagles think it's easy pickings. Why do people have to be so irresponsible ?
