I'm pretty sure none was swallowed.
How near is this nest to the big land fill site?
It is only about 5-10 miles from the landfill.

GW is at 2. He hasn't moved much since Pa came earlier. Linux has been wingersizing and moving around. This is my normal viewing time and they don't do much for first couple of hours each day till a parent returns with breakfast. They are playing waiting game!

Good morning Aunties, Goldwing and Linux
The only way I can tell these two apart is that GW has had quite a thick looking neck/crop area the past couple of days, whereas, Linux has a thinner neck. IMHO he seems smaller than GW so I am assuming he is likely a male.

Good morning jkr and gd....
They're not doing much this morning, just waiting for food like normal. GW looks male to me based on the zooming you did yesterday, Got a good look at beak and eye. I still think they may be the same sex but we'll see.... GW has more white feathers in tail which is probably only valid for a few days:nod:

Linux doing a bit of preening. It is amazing the places they can reach with their beaks.

It definitely is a worry to see GW inactive today. She was doing so well yesterday that I was expecting her to be moving around more.

Both watching to the right of the nest and squawking at the same time. Do they see a parent in the distance ?
They were probably hoping it was breakfast arriving.
