Perched on a branch on the neighboring tree - wouldn't have noticed if I didn't see the arrival.

Dad(?) back, I think with a bit of grass. Stayed a moment then jumped up to the cam branch. Didn't get a s'cap. I think I can see his shadow in the nest, but only while he's moving.

2:27pm Nice s'cap Judy! That is a common perching spot for this pair -- it has a name but I don't remember what at the moment... too sleep deprived

2:43pm I'm betting this is the shadow of the cam! BUT-- the new or the old??

Great pictures, Terry!

9:26 am

Just saw a flash of movement out of the corner of my eye, and it looked as if a large dark bird was flying into one of the perching locations in the neighboring tree (same general area where I saw one yesterday). Can't tell if he/she is visible - I think there may be a dark area that wasn't there before, but am not sure. I am sure I saw big wings in flight disappearing behind the leaves.

Glad you saw him/her, Bev!

Here's a pic from the brief visit

And I'm not sure if it's the same eagle, but there's one now perched in the upper left corner - his/her head is sort of where the "ck" in Hancock is in the picture below, and s/he has since moved a bit further out the branch so you can see his/her back behind the "fe" in Wildlife.
