3:01pm ok I would love for a parent to come and bring babes back to the centre I'm sure it's an illusion but they just seem too near the perimeter for comfort - there ..at least the rightlet has moved her head from the fence

3:07 oh now she has put it back... I hope there is a tree trunk there- maybe their bowl is damp from the rain and the edge is drier

Hi GD. It is a little troubling not to be able to see the edge of the nest at the 6oclock region. Based on what I remember from the Cam view last year, there was still quite a bit of nest beyond the heavy trunk that held the camera. That trunk seems to me to be what I can see in the extreme lower left of this view. My thought is that as long as we can see them in the 6oclock area they are not too close to the edge of the nest. I hope.. hug

3:13pm both are at 6oclock snoozing. a light breeze casts leaf shadows on the nest.

wave Hi GD. Pa actually built up the rail on that side right before his departure. They do seem close to the edge. Pa also cleaned the bowl before he left but they stayed on the edge.

They are growing so quickly. One flapped his wings today. Red Heart

Hi Terry. Just noticed you are here too. The lets ate a whole rabbit today! Grin

Was that the first documented wing flap? I should go and post it on FB. we've had quite a few poop shot s'caps but this will be the first one of a flap.

GD I am going to grab your flapping s'cap and post it on FB. It's a great image. I hope you don't mind

3:47pm our chicks are just lazing around in the nest near 6oclock. The breezes continues and there are still leaf shadows on the nest.

3:55pm our chicks have moved and now face 9oclock; it looks like they are more in the bowl than they were earlier.

Poop shot from 1 of them. The chick had good balance and executed the process 'like a pro' -- Now both are laying down again.

Standing tall after a poop shot -- notice the feet
