I missed them! Karen sent me an email to let me know they were home but I was too slow!
Thank you Planetocean and Lovethebabies!

That's funny eh? Pa does a litlle straightening and she has to double check. I was thinking about the hole in the middle and was wondering if they do that to make sure they always know where the center of the nest is while they are building around it? Sounds logical but just dunno. If they keep up this pace the nest will be 4 feet deep...Sure are diligent workers. I guess they also come by everyday to make sure no one else takes over too. Am so enjoying the beginning of it all ...sure isn't much time in their lives for just sitting around...unlike us....hee hee Glad we have a new video...thanks Darlene
The first video also my 1000 post

You're welcome Terry They seem to be there about the same times...Usually just after or around 1:00 pm and then between 6pm to 8:00 pm in the evening...That might help you to get to see them...Hopefully
O LOOK YOU were my 1000 Post!! Nice!!!

Congratulations on your new status planet!
No one home. I guess they worked long and hard yesterday, deserve this Sunday off. Another dreary wettish kind of day.

Hi Everyone. Just checking in for the first time since my vacation.
SO thrilled to watch the Ma and Pa video, Darlene. SO GREAT to see their return. Ma and Pa look great and it is a wonderful feeling to see that life goes on. They both look none the wear from their salmon run.
Congratulations, planetocean, on your 1,000 post. It was great to come on line and catch all your scaps and comments.
Thanks everyone for keeping us up-to-date on our special couple. They are doing an amazing job of rebuilding their nest for the next little Jet and Oreo. Time will tell how many cuties we will have to watch over this season.
I have the cam opened to see if I can catch a glimpse of the happy couple but so far nothing. I will come back later and perhaps my luck will change.

Well, I watched the nest for about an hour but no sign of Ma or Pa.
I enjoyed catching up on all the posts and particularly enjoyed jkr's post on October 27 of the nest comparison (October 6 vs October 26). I am wondering if this will be a long, cold winter? The eagles may know something we don't Only time will answer this one!
