I haven't heard any strange sounds here yet, stim, but I remember well hearing unusual vocals at the Delta 1 nest. I'm sure you heard something!

I seem to recall last season someone mentioning at 1 of the nests a strange eagle call. Was it here? I wish someone else had heard what I heard this morning.
Judy, that video going around of the eagle owl fly in is incredible. I received it again today for about the 5th time. At least friends know what to send me!

3:56 A few juncos on the nest. We know what that means with eagles in the immediate area! With that I'm out again.

quick visit a couple of minutes ago - brought big clump of moss or something like that.

Nest is quite empty but the amount of work this pair has done this month is amazing.
Here's a comparison of Oct 6th and Oct 26th.

Nice comparison scaps jkr. They are a busy couple.

12:37 I've been here on and off for almost an hour. No eagles seen nor heard. It is such a lovely sunny day!

3:04pm here to watch for a while...

3:24pm Small birds keep flitting on and off and around the nest recently.

4;12pm this pair don't work in the afternoons it would seem.

I'm going to go and watch White Rock for a while, now.
