Good evening Liberty and Good morning Raining.
It sure does appear that our eagles have left for the season. I wish them a safe journey and look forward to their return.
As a Note to Everyone:
As JudyB pointed out yesterday --- now that our eagles seem to have left to area we should begin using the Delta Aunties chat thread forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=255871 in the Garden Fence Chat area, and keep this thread for daily nest observations.
All Aunties old and new (and I mean old as being here over a year. ) are welcome to join the chat.

Howdy, Everyone!!!
Yes, the nest seems to be officially empty. What a thrilling time this has been!!! As the movie trailers used to say, "spills and thrills and excitement beyond measure".
From the vigilance of watching the eggs, the hatching, feeding of the little fluffies, growth, losing one babe, and keeping track of Linux, to wishing Linux a happy flight on the thermals, we all hung in there and laughed and cried together.
This has been a life-changing time for me and I truly appreciate everyone's hard work and dedication. Many, many thanks to all of you.

Just checked the nest and see that the banded foot is still visible on the nest.
