I am new to writing here on this forum, but have been reading the updates for a while. Just had to come on here to tell you all thank you, thank you, thank you for the updates, the pictures, the endless information and now the posts and pics that our Linux is turning into a beautiful Bald Eagle. What a joy it was this morning to find out that he was spotted in the tree. I have watched for him daily and this is just the news we've all been waiting to hear. So thank you again for showing us the magnificent possibilities of nature. Soar Linux Soar!

Very Happy Good to see Linux back and looking very healthy. He knew his Aunties were all waiting to see him again before he flies to the great white north. Wonderful to see Mom & Dad together in the nest. Thank to Liberty, Raining and everyone else here who managed to document Linux's return through notes, s'caps and videos Left thumb up I'm sure David H will be thrilled to hear the good news.

Glad you were able to join the family reunion Cheers this morning, gd, newbiE, birdLP and sassyk.

Also glad to see we have a new poster. BirdLP welcome and don't be a stranger.

We have to wonder if they were bidding us a fond farewell or if they still have some visits left. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Grin

I am so happy Linux came back to pose in all his beauty. I am just now seeing it after Sydie sent me the link. Happy tears blurring the screen now.

I can finally admit that a part of me was worried and now I am not. Thanks to the diligent zoomies and s'cappers and observers who keep us updated, I think you have a sense of what it means to many of us, but I don't think you can imagine it fully. When you sit all day in an office and don't get to see the eagles in real time, the bounty of pictures and narratives are so wonderful they can make your heart hurt. Thank you again and again from the bottom of my heart.

I hope we see him again, but if not, my heart is happy. Go on your grand adventure, Linux, and take a bit of our hearts with you forever.

I have gone through these 12 images and they look like a 2 or possibly 3 year old juvenile. The bill is not black, it appears to have light brow ridges and while I cannot see the breast, it appears to have the upper parts light indicating the older juvie class.

Thanks.
